Walk and Prayer
The longer I walk with God, I exponentially realize that I am unable to verbalize, much less comprehend, two distinct truths: 1.) His absolute glory, His majesty, His holiness and His absolute worth. 2.) My utter depravity, my sin loathing wretched past and my utter hopelessness without His dear Son, His grace, and the leading and empowerment of His Holy Spirit.
The longer I walk with Him, the more I realize how much more there is of Him to know, how much more I am truly needy, and how much more I must yet be humbled, pressing into more and more prayer , being sanctified in the image of Christ.
Oh that He would be please to keep my feet forever on the narrow path, leading my feeble body ever onward with Him into further and further depths, keeping my eyes singular upon Him and that which brings Him honor. Oh Lord, my Lord, take this weak vessel and get glory for your name. Make me a usable and honorable vessel, full of Christ, and a light unto people who do not know You. Oh Lord, never let me wonder off onto lesser things, thereby being told, “You have left your first love.”
