In 2010, Gospel for Asia’s Forgotten Christmas was born out of a desire to bring the focus of Christmas back to Jesus Christ. It’s hard to imagine in this day and age that more than 2 billion people have never heard the name of Christ. Most of these people live in the 10/40 window in and around South Asia.
What if we could make a difference through a simple cup of clean water or something as small as a pair of rabbits? This Christmas, a gift of compassion can help communicate the love of Jesus to one person, one family, or even one village.
Our hope is that through the hustle and bustle of the season we don’t forget why we celebrate the holiday. We pray Forgotten Christmas is shown in churches, featured on blogs and shared on social media sites. Our desire is for men, women and children everywhere to catch the vision of turning the celebration of Christmas toward Christ. We believe Forgotten Christmas is an avenue to do just that.
